Viking's assets in Kansas are operated by experienced operators in the region, including: (i) Haas Petroleum LLC (www.haaspetroleum.com), a fourth-generation oil and gas company; and (ii) S&B Operating, LLC, a subsidiary of Kansas Resource Development Company. Both operators have decades of experience in the oil & gas sector, and specialize in formulating and operating water-flood enhanced oil recovery programs.

Relationship with Commercial Banks:

Viking, through certain of its subsidiaries, has credit facilities with CrossFirst Bank and Cornerstone Bank, commercial lending institutions with expertise in serving the needs of participants in the oil, gas and energy industry, particularly in the mid-continent region.

Development Potential:

Viking’s leases in Kansas produce oil from various formations and zones, including the Cherokee, Conglomerate, Viola and Simpson Sandstone, at depths ranging from 600 ft. to 3,300 ft. and offer the potential for several in-field drilling locations. Other target formations and sands include Arbuckle, Kansas City, Topeka Limestone and Kinderhook. There is also tremendous upside potential through the enhancement of existing wells using proven methods.
